Maruti Wagon R 7 Seater Launch in 2016

Maruti Wagon R 7 Seater Details
The company has imported a 1.2-litre K-series petrol engined prototype and a 1.3-litre DDiS 200 engined version. Though there is no clarity if the production-ready version will get these two engines or the Celerio's 1.0-litre K-series petrol and 0.8-litre DDiS 125 units. the Wagon R 7-Seater MPV is about 101mm longer than the hatchback version.

Price Estimated around Rs. 4.5 lakh – Rs. 6 lakh (ex-showroom)

Design & Styling
Maruti’s new MPV will get a much better styling than most of its rivals, as claimed by Davy J Tulian, the Sales head at PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales. Though, the company hasn’t yet revealed the production-ready model of the car. The MPV will share the platform, and several styling cues with the regular Wagon R such as tall-boy design and a high ground clearance. The wheelbase, too, will remain the same. Though, the dimension might be increased for accommodating an extra-row of seats. Similar to the concept model, the production-ready version of the MPV will feature a dual beige and purple interior.

Maruti Wagon R 7 Seater MPV Mileage
Since the MPV could share its engine with the Swift, we can expect it to be as efficient as the Swift. Coupled with a five-speed manual transmission, the Swift delivers an impressive mileage of 20.4kmpl.

The WagonR 7-seater priced around 80,000 more than its hatchback sibling, the Maruti Suzuki WagonR 7-seater will take head on against the Datsun GO+ - the country's first sub-compact MPV.
